I’m Caitlin Ayers, founder of Top Rocks Paws. My shop brings together the things I love most, pets and creativity, into one place. Inspired by hiking the Red Rocks of Arizona and my lifelong love of sewing, I create high-quality accessories for dogs (and now cats!) from my home base in Columbus, Ohio. When I’m not designing, you’ll find me sewing, experimenting with pottery, or cuddling with my fur child, Shadoe.

As a little girl, I dreamed of opening a wedding dress and formal wear boutique. When that plan wasn’t financially possible, I stepped away from sewing for eight years. Eventually, working two jobs I didn’t enjoy, I realized my dog Shadoe was my one true source of happiness.

He inspired me to mix my passions and create something meaningful. In 2017, that vision became Top Rocks Creations Doggie Wear. Since then, the business has grown and evolved into Top Rocks Paws, now offering handmade dog bandanas, collar flowers, and even cat accessories and catnip toys.

Today, I also offer various NCAA-licensed bandanas through a crafter’s license and am fully licensed to sell Ohio State Buckeye and U.S. Army pet products. Every product is a blend of craftsmanship, quality, and the inspiration I draw from Shadoe and from all the pets who wear my designs.

About Shadoe

I was rescued from rural West Virgina, where I was found without a family and only 5 pounds full of worms. My mama drove 2 hours to take me home with her. That is our love story. I am now living the model life. She says I’ve got to earn all the treats, by taking great pictures. There are perks to this life, like being pampered lots of toys, chews, walks and half the super comfy queen bed to sleep on. I swear I am not a Diva! My favorite things to do is chasing squirrels and squeaking my toys. If you ever see us out and about ask me about all my tricks! I am about 95 pounds and wear an XL size!
